220 million euros in sales for manroland Goss in 2020

After a year that fell short of expectations, manroland Goss expects orders to increase and profitability to be higher in 2021.

manroland Goss presented its financial results for the past fiscal year, a year in which "heavily affected by the Covid 19 pandemic" like many companies. While demand for the group's service offerings (refurbishment, training, maintenance, etc.) has remained stable, incoming orders for new printing systems have been lower than expected. But the web press manufacturer expects orders to pick up in 2021.

In the year 2020, the German manufacturer achieved a turnover of 220 million euros (compared to 293 million in 2018, the latest fiscal year disclosed ) and positive earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of 3.2 million Euro (+ 1.4%).
"Net debt improved by ?7.5 million compared to the previous year. manroland Goss thus continues to demonstrate a solid financial and capital structure." he points out.

For the year 2021, manroland Goss expects a "significant increase" orders. It relies on its web offset packaging printing solutions offering, with the Varioman press launched in 2018 and the machines Thallo, portfolio acquired in December 2020 from the Dutch group Contiweb .
