Gallus releases a new version of its Labelmaster label press

The Gallus Labelmaster label printing press is even easier to use and waste is reduced.

The Gallus Labelmaster label printing press is changing. The Swiss manufacturer Gallus, a subsidiary of the Heidelberg Group, has made several changes to its modular flexo label press.

A shorter label press for less waste

Gallus now offers a more compact machine. Corona surface pretreatment, cleaning, transport and web tensioning are integrated into the new reel units, so that one module could be eliminated.
This reduction in the length of the machine (which can reach 3.30 meters depending on the configuration) also reduces paper waste.

Completely redesigned coil loading on the Gallus Labelmaster

The new Gallus Labelmaster also features a completely redesigned substrate loading concept. A forklift outside the printing press now allows the operator to easily load and unload substrates.
This means that an integrated elevator is no longer necessary and the new truck can be used flexibly even on other machines.

Expanded screen controls

The manufacturer has also modified the winding units. The parameters of these units can be adjusted via the machine's touch screen.

Finally, the accessibility of the pre-processing and web transport modules has also been improved.
