In November, Ateliers Cassandre, based in Wissous (Essonne, France), will be the first company to be equipped with the brand-new Nyala 4S flatbed.
This machine from SwissQprint, with a 3.2×2 m printing area, will double the printing capacity of the company, which specializes in small and large format digital printing on all substrates.
"We're already equipped with a SwissQprint Nyala 2, which gives us complete satisfaction and meets our production requirements, explains Clément Asnar, manager of Ateliers Cassandre. But to meet a growing demand for large-format printing on rigid substrates, we decided to invest in the most productive of the latest-generation SwissQprint flatbed printers."
This latest generation of led UV flatbed printers, released this month, features new print heads and a new vacuum table system. SwissQprint printers are modular, so the number of channels (up to 9), the automation of media loading or the presence of rollers, for example, can be adapted to the needs of printers.
Ateliers Cassandres chose to add a row of printheads. As a result, the print shop can produce Fine Art at the high speed of 370 m 2 per hour. "With such speed, we double our hourly production volume." He adds: "We are gaining in power and are assured of being able to respond to the most voluminous projects within the tightest deadlines." .
Once this SwissQprint has been installed, all the workshop's printing machines will be duplicated. In this way, the company aims to be in a position to cover all demands, and to be ready for any breakdown or overhaul.
