The manufacturer Mimaki offers a new high performance UV LED inkjet printer for industrial marking, the UJF-7151 plusII. Replacing the previous model (UJF-7151 plus), this printer dedicated to the personalization of various flat surfaces and objects is equipped with a printing area of 710 x 510 mm and 153 mm high.
The UJF-7151 plusII is designed for high-speed production. Equipped with eight print heads, it achieves up to 190% higher four-color printing speed than the previous model.
This UV led printing machine, with an image resolution of up to 1,800 x 1,800 dpi, is equipped with a new system to improve image quality, especially halftones. "This increased control results in sharper edges and finer lines, as well as more consistent colors." says the Japanese manufacturer.
The six-color configuration of the UJF-7151 plusII adds light cyan and light magenta for more accurate color reproduction.
Colour Gloss feature provides a glossy finish to cured colour inks "to create new textures and unique details ensuring products that stand out, even without clear coat" .
The load capacity of the media is now 30 kg (compared to 10 kg on the previous model), which allows printing on heavy media such as wood, metal and glass.
