Mimaki unveils two new direct-to-textile printers, the Tx330-1800 and Tx330-1800B. The Tx330 series prints on a variety of materials with a minimum of wastewater, assures the Japanese brand. Unlike conventional textile printing processes, which require pre- and post-treatment equipment, the Tx330 series concentrates production in a single machine. The printers are equipped with a double set of inks for rapid changeover from textile pigment inks to dye-sublimation inks and vice versa.
The Tx330-1800 can print on both fabric and paper. This model will be officially launched on the European market at Fespa in Berlin, May 6-9, 2025.

The Tx330-1800B, meanwhile, is designed to print on the stretch, thick and thin fabrics commonly used for garments, making it ideal for the production of limited-run and varied garments in confined spaces. It will be available from June 2025.
Arjen Evertse, General Sales Manager EMEA at Mimaki Europe, explains: "The ink versatility of these printers addresses the significant problem of industrial water pollution, to which traditional textile dyeing alone contributes around 20%.
Using textile pigmentation and dye sublimation processes, Mimaki's latest printing solutions eliminate the need for the large quantities of water typically required in post-processing, creating a much more resource-efficient process with near-zero water consumption, while significantly reducing energy consumption."
