At the Fespa Global Print Expo, to be held in Berlin, Germany, from May 6 to 9, 2025, the Spanish brand known for its Plastgrommet illet-laying and welding equipment will be exhibiting, for the first time, four new machines designed to optimize the finishing stages in the production of printed tarpaulins and textile substrates.
The All in One Edge, a new entry-level in-line machine
Among the innovations announced is the All in One Edge, a simplified version of the All in One finishing line. The All in One Edge is aimed at medium-sized workshops seeking to automate welding, trimming and cutting operations, while keeping their investment under control. This in-line solution retains the key functions of the manufacturer's All in One range, but with a reduced footprint and cost.
Texwiz, integrating sewing into textile flows
Plastgrommet will also launch the Texwiz module, which adds a sewing function to its textile finishing solutions. This new system will be integrated into the All in One platform to demonstrate the feasibility of automated finishing of technical textiles, such as air mesh tarpaulins. For this demonstration, the Spaniard will collaborate with German textile supplier Pongs and Austrian digital printing machine manufacturer Durst.
Texwiz can be hemmed, edged and cut in a single pass. Plastgrommet also stresses the environmental benefits of its transparent plastic hems: combined with polyester supports, they make banners entirely recyclable without prior disassembly.
Winder360 and Jumbomax coil management systems
Also unveiled at Fespa is the Winder360, an automatic rewinder designed for machines in the All in One range. This module automates print recovery and reduces finishing time for short edges by 50%, according to data provided.
Also new is the Jumbomax, a reel lifter capable of handling reels weighing up to 1âeuros000Â kg. The Jumbomax joins Plastgrommetâ??s existing range of handling systems, which includes the Rollmax (up to 450Â kg) and the Compact lifter (200Â kg).
And bead presses, welding stations, work tables...
In addition to these four new products, Plastgrommet will be exhibiting its full range of finishing solutions, from manual or automatic bead presses (HPS025, Autocross, Multipress...) to welding stations such as the Evolve welder, designed for high production rates. Airflow tables will also be on display.
The company's range of plastic and metal rollers, manufactured in-house, will also be highlighted, as well as storage racks for rolls, such as the Bull rack max, and transport solutions, including the Jumbo rolls transporter.
