Tecnau will be unveiling several new products in collaboration with its partners at Drupa 2024, including the Tecnau Revolution 50 cutting line with extended functionality and automation.

At Drupa, Tecnau will be presenting 15 finishing solutions for high-speed inkjet printing, including many new products. Seven will be exhibited on the Italian manufacturer's stand, and eight on those of its partners.

The high-speed, continuous-feed Revolution 50 Stack 5251L in three configurations

New products include, first and foremost, the brand-new Tecnau Revolution 50 high-speed continuous feeder, which will be demonstrated with extended functionality and automation in three different configurations.

On the Canon stand (hall 8A), this brand-new Revolution 50 Stack 5251L cutting and stacking line will accompany Canon's ProStream 2000 press. This configuration can produce a wide range of applications, from B2 posters to A6 leaflets.
The variable sheet length function of the Revolution 50 Stack 5251L provides "unprecedented flexibility in application changes" says Tecnau.
In addition, the configuration presented at Drupa will include Tecnau's Unwinder u50 and Rewinder r50 unwinders, which enable roll-to-roll processing for a variety of off-line finishing options.

Next, the Tecnau Revolution 50 will be on the Fujifilm stand (hall 8B), in conjunction with the Fujifilm high-speed inkjet press Jet Press 1160CFG from the Japanese manufacturer .

And the cut-stack line will be available offline on the Kodak stand (Hall 5), optimized for short-run books, magazines and large poster applications. It will showcase its ability to handle pre-printed rolls with the Kodak Prosper Ultra 520 press.

New book finishing solutions

With Screen, Tecnau will also present the combination of the Revolution 50 unwinder rewinder with the Screen 520HD Mono printer, enabling the production of books printed in black and white. Finishing will then be carried out on the Tecnau stand with an automated book block production line.

At Drupa 2024, Tecnau will also be launching a high-speed cut-stack finishing solution, on the Horizon stand (hall 6). It will be demonstrated in an automated book production line, from white paper to finished book, featuring the new Canon varioPrint 6330 TPxp sheet-fed printer, the new Tecnau BookReady B3 cut/stack system, and Horizon's three-knife bindery and trimmer.

On the Smyth stand (Hall 6), Tecnau will be exhibiting a system combining an unwinder and a guillotine cutter with Smyth's sewing system, to produce sewn book blocks ready for in-line binding.

And automated handling and packaging solutions

Tecnau will also be unveiling an automated handling robot, the RoboTEC, and the Sitma e-wrap, a dynamic book-wrapping system.
