Bobst unveils the Novafold, its new folder-gluer

This new line, the Bobst Novafold, can produce a wide variety of folding cartons at speeds up to 18,000 cartons per hour.

Bobst is launching the Novafold, its new folder-gluer for packaging manufacturers. This range from the Swiss manufacturer is composed of the Bobst Novafold 50, Novafold 80 and Novafold 110 models, which feature different widths and configuration possibilities. These Novafolds can produce a wide variety of folding cartons up to 800 g/m 2 and at speeds of up to 18,000 boxes per hour.

"This folder-gluer has efficient and reliable features, from a very stable feeder to an alignment module, a precise pre-crusher, a flexible module for self-bottom boxes and a device for 4 and 6 corner boxes, says Pierre Binggeli, Bobst's Folder Gluer Range Manager. Its technology makes it easy to produce all standard packaging, opening the door to diversification for packaging printers and converters looking to grow their business."

The Bobst Novafold can be equipped with the Accueject quality control feature, which automatically ejects cans that do not meet quality control specifications, regardless of the adhesive application system.

"The market is looking for solid, reliable machines that combine quality, efficiency and a sufficiently robust design to meet all customer expectations. And this is precisely what Bobst machines offer to converters." assures Pierre Binggeli.

This new Novafold completes Bobst's range of folder-gluers including the Visionfoldeuros50-110, the Expertfoldeuros50-110 and the Masterfold 75-110.
