First unveiled in 2020, the Ricoh Pro Z75 digital press is now commercially available. This water-based B2 perfector inkjet press is a high-volume CMYK sheetfed press capable of printing 4,500 sheets per hour on one side, and 2,250 sheets per hour on both sides.
Equipped with a liquid-cooling system, its stainless steel piezoelectric printheads with pigment inks offer native resolution of 1,200 DPI at all speeds for "offset quality says the Japanese brand. Its drying system guarantees " high-quality results ready for immediate finishing".
The Ricoh Pro Z75 handles uncoated, offset-coated and inkjet-treated media up to 400 g/m 2 with a maximum sheet size of 585 mm x 750 mm.

According to Eef de Ridder, Vice President of Graphic Communications at Ricoh Europe, this B2-format digital press is ideal for applications such as direct mail, marketing and commercial printing.
In June 2022, the American printing company Heeter, which specializes in secure marketing for the insurance and retail sectors, became Ricoh's official beta site for testing this new printing machine.
