Landa Digital Printing, the nanographic press manufacturer, is to open a new ink plant to meet growing North American demand. Production is scheduled to start by the second half of 2024.
Located in the Midwest of the United States, the new plant will manufacture the manufacturer's water-based ink, NanoInk, required for nanographic printing, invented by Benny Landa. It will supply markets in the USA, Mexico and Canada.
The plant will join Landa's existing ink factories around the world, and "will mark a significant expansion" group capabilities.
"Landa places strategic importance on our North American customers" says Landa CEO Gil Oron. "We're experiencing rapid growth in the region, and the new plant will help meet the demand we're seeing."
In August 2022, the Group opened its first European plant for Landa inks, based in Sittard in the Netherlands, doubling its production capacity. Landa remains tight-lipped about the number of plants and their volumes.
Landa also announced the forthcoming installation of three nanographic presses in Europe in Germany, the Czech Republic and England.
