With the addition of this new printing facility, Daddy Kate now has three printing companies in France, with sales of 75 million euros.

After acquiring Tournai-based ICR, a printing company specializing in mailings, at the beginning of the year, Belgian Daddy Kate is continuing its expansion in France. On February 1, Imprimerie Daniel Faurite, located in Miribel near Lyon, which had been in receivership since October 2023, joined the family group. 25 of the 35 current employees are continuing the adventure.

In addition to ICR, Daddy Kate also owns Daddy Kate France, the result of the merger of Becquart Impressions in Tourcoing, Imprimerie Dumoulin in Libercourt, and Carte Blanche in Neuville-en-Ferrain, which will come together in Libercourt in 2020.

"It's an opportunity that presented itself to us earlier than expected, but one that fits in perfectly with our strategy, explains Thijs Claes, CEO of Daddy Kate . Now that we also have a printing plant in Lyon, with expertise in offset and digital printing technologies, we can serve the whole of France. It's the ideal complement for Daddy Kate France, which is mainly present on the Lille-Paris axis."

This acquisition also enables Daddy Kate to benefit from Imprimerie Daniel Faurite's HUV technology, which enables offset printing with instant sheet drying, and on sensitive uncoated and PVC substrates.

With this latest acquisition in Lyon, Daddy Kate now has seven companies - three in France and four in Belgium - employing 275 people and generating sales of 75 million euros.
