Maqprint Groupe and PimpMyCoffin: when printing goes beyond the grave

We've all heard of personalizing clothes, packaging, cars and even phone covers... but what about coffins? Toulouse-based PimpMyCoffin and Limoges-based printer Maqprint Groupe are shaking up the funeral industry with a bold proposal: make every last tribute unique, thanks to digital printing and artificial intelligence.

Portraits of the deceased, souvenir Polaroids, personalized motifs... the coffin becomes a veritable memory capsule, reflecting the image of the departed.
Maqprint Groupe ensures French production and meticulous logistics, guaranteeing a 40-minute installation time. An alliance which, if it doesn't promise eternity, at least ensures a last journey worthy of the memories.

Storopack launches AIRfiber, a recyclable paper air cushion

Storopack, a German company specializing in protective packaging and technical molded parts, offers an air-cushioned wedge. What's new is that it's made from recyclable paper with a water-soluble inner coating. Called AIRfiber and certified Made for Recycling in accordance with DIN EN 13430, it combines protection and durability with paper recycling. Designed to cushion and fill empty spaces, AIRfiber offers a robust alternative to traditional solutions.
This unique combination ensures that this packaging material can be recycled alongside paper.

A cardboard rod to replace plastic

Totalement Ballons, a specialist in balloon printing based in Bayenghem-lès-Éperlecques in the Pas-de-Calais region of France, has developed LaTige in-house. Designed to compensate for the ban on single-use plastic, this rod, which enables a balloon to be attached without tying a knot, is made from recycled, biodegradable cardboard and manufactured in France.
What's more, it can be customized with a logo or message from 50,000 units upwards.

The Picourt Group launches a compostable paper flowpack

French group Picourt, which specializes in the printing and finishing of flexible packaging, offers an alternative to plastic with a heat-sealable, compostable paper flowpack. With a coating that provides a barrier against moisture, grease and oxygen, this pouch is suitable for a wide range of applications: cosmetics, food, nutritional supplements and even events. It can also be printed with variable data, combining durability and personalization.

Loire Impression prints on holographic adhesive

Loire Impression explores new media with holographic adhesive, a material with changing multicolored reflections ideal for adhesives, signage or interior decoration.
Available in custom-cut versions, this substrate combines aesthetics and strength for original, striking creations.

ISRA Cards launches its first RFID sensors in printed electronics

ISRA Cards, a card manufacturer based in Mours-Saint-Eusèbe in the Drôme region of France, offers RFID temperature and humidity sensors in credit card format.
Designed for industrial and logistics environments, these sensors operate in a RAIN RFID (UHF) network, enabling remote monitoring from a distance of up to 6 meters. Their slim, flexible design makes them easy to integrate on different surfaces, even in confined spaces.
Based on an antenna printed with conductive ink and equipped with an ASYGN chip, these sensors offer a robust, customizable alternative for monitoring environmental conditions in real time.
