The Latex FS70 W, HP's new high-production white-ink printer

The 3.2-meter-wide FS70 W Latex white ink printer is designed for high-speed production jobs, while the FS50 and FS60 can be upgraded with a productivity kit.

American manufacturer HP continues to enhance its range of Latex printers with the launch of the FS70 W, a 3.20-meter-wide white-ink model designed for intensive production, and a productivity kit for the FS50 and FS60.

The FS70 W large-format printer completes a series of launches that began earlier this year with the 730 and 830 models. The two-channel Latex FS70 W (CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, white, HP LatexOptimizer and HP Latex varnish) takes over from the 3X00 series with enhanced performance. According to HP data, it reaches 162 m 2 /h (in two passes).

A configuration designed for productivity

With a printing width of 3.20 meters, the HP Latex FS70 W incorporates a jumbo double-roller system (up to 2 x 200 kg), 10-liter ink cartridges for color and 6-liter for white ink, and an automated maintenance system. The print kit also includes a removable print head for protective varnish, an ink collector and a deflection roller.

The large-format printer is designed for unattended printing, with optimized management of white ink, which is notoriously unstable. HP promotes a no-waste system, with ink kept in a closed circuit when not in use.

A 30% increase in productivity on FS50 and FS60 models

Alongside this new model, HP is offering a productivity kit for existing FS50 and FS60 users.
According to the manufacturer, this kit offers a 30% performance gain on standard applications, based on simplified maintenance and improved management of print cycles. As a result, it extends equipment life without compromising productivity.

Water-based inks with environmental certification

Like the entire Latex range, the FS70 W uses UL Ecologo and Greenguard Gold-certified, odorless aqueous inks. HP emphasizes the advantages of these inks in sensitive environments, particularly high-traffic indoor areas. Cartridges are supplied in a rigid cardboard box, and consumables are supported by the HP Planet Partners recycling program.
