Xeikon launches the Remanufactured, Ecological: Xeikon quality or REX program. This service offers printers remanufactured Xeikon digital presses at more affordable prices and with the same guarantees as new presses.
"With our REX program, we are reconditioning older presses, which are returning to our factory, to implement our recent updates and upgrade the digital front end to support the latest version of our workflow, the X-800 6.0", details Jeroen Van Bauwel, Director of Management.
A press 40% cheaper
The first press available with this program is the Xeikon 3030 REX. It is a digital colour press with an opaque white label.
It is offered at a price of 197,000 euros, which is about 40% less than a new Xeikon 3030 press, Xeikon tells us.
Both the Xeikon 3030 REX and the Xeikon 3030 use Xeikon's dry toner technology, a toner certified for food safety. It prints at a resolution of 1200 dpi and with the new X-800 6.0 Digital Front-end, it can be integrated into existing workflows.
According to its manufacturer, the Xeikon 3030 REX can meet 90% of all end applications in the label industry.
