Moderna Printing adds a new 80-page web press. This press, a Manroland Lithoman IV, ordered in February 2019, is being installed in the workshop in Paal-Beringen, Belgium.
"With a length of about 50 meters and a width of about 8 meters, this new press is in fact almost a factory in itself." says CEO Eric Bongaerts on the company's website
With this investment, the magazine printing plant wants to make the printing process "as efficient as possible and offer a competitive price to the customer." .
Eric Bongaerts says: "This press offers more possibilities. For example, today we can print up to 48 A4 pages at a time, this will be expanded to 80 pages in the future. If I take everything into account, we increase our printing capacity by 38 percent."
Its press fleet already includes two 48-page and one 16-page web press as well as a 10-colour sheetfed press.
Moderna Printing achieves 90% of its turnover in Belgium and the Netherlands. Its other markets are France, Germany and England.
