Caldera PrimeCenter, the new prepress automation solution

This solution is designed to reduce file preparation times and save media costs.

RIP software publisher Caldera is launching a new product for large format digital printers, the Caldera PrimeCenter. Developed in cooperation with die-cutting machine manufacturer Zünd, the Caldera PrimeCenter is a prepress automation solution that is designed to reduce the preparation time for printing and die-cutting jobs.

This software solution is placed upstream of the RIP. With Caldera PrimeCenter, the various client files (in pdf, tif, jpeg and png formats) are checked, prepared and optimized. "These files are checked, marked and interleaved with each other to produce print-ready layouts, saving valuable time in prepress and production." explains the editor. And the automatic nesting function optimizes media usage, reducing costs.

PrimeCenter was designed to automate the production of rolls, POP, stickers, banners and other large format products.

"For small operations carried out by a single person, this represents a considerable time saving, as it allows him to use a dedicated interface that integrates easily into the RIP. For larger operations, PrimeCenter reduces the multitude of repetitive daily tasks faced by prepress operators."

Caldera PrimeCenter is available in three versions depending on the level of automation.
