The Texart XT-640S-DTG, Roland DG's high-speed textile printer

Roland DG launches a multi-pose direct textile printer for t-shirts and clothing.

The German manufacturer Roland DG expands its Texart textile printer range with the Texart XT-640S-DTG. This new machine is an ultra-fast direct white multi-pose CMYK plus direct CMYK printer for t-shirts and garments made of white polyester or cotton.

Printing a t-shirt takes only 8 seconds for a 200 x 260 mm print area in CMYK (based on the production of 12 t-shirts).

In addition, its jig system makes it possible to combine different sizes of garments during the same job.

And "Roland's latest ErgoSoft RIP software, with variable data and automatic white management, makes direct textile printing extremely efficient."

"Its speed, accuracy and versatility make it an ideal tool for apparel suppliers switching from screen to digital printing, those already using multiple direct textile printing machines, brands integrating in-house production, embroiderers looking to diversify their product offering, and many others, says Paul Willems, Head of Business Development and Product Management EMEA for Roland DG. The market for digital textile direct-to-substrate printing is set to grow and expand."
