4 previews for Durst at Fespa 2025

P5 500 TEX iSUB

At Berlin, Durst Group will be presenting a number of world premiere systems, including the new P5 X flatbed, a direct-to-textile printing solution with pigment inks, and software developments focused on automated workflows.

At the Fespa 2025 large-format trade show (May 6-9) in Berlin, Germany, Durst will be exhibiting a series of new printing systems and industrial software solutions, under the slogan Made in Durst, in a configuration focused on production demonstrations. Two of these are for the rigid and hybrid segments, while two others are dedicated to textile printing.

Two new versatile printing solutions...

The Italian manufacturer will officially present the P5 X for the first time in Berlin. This is a flatbed system designed for rigid substrates, with roll-to-roll printing capability. The architecture is based on a 3.20 x 2.10 m table combined with a drive to maintain register on a variety of formats. This model is designed for workshops producing signage, decoration and production on technical materials.

The P5 350 HS D4, an evolution of the existing hybrid platform, will offer improved output and consistency over long production runs. It retains compatibility with sheet and reel media, and is positioned for intensive production flows.

... and two direct textile printing solutions

Durst will also be exhibiting the LF 430 GF, a machine based on Aleph technologies. It works by printing directly on fabric using water-based pigment inks. The process enables printing without transfer paper, and reduces post-processing steps. This system is aimed at the textile decoration, flexible signage and apparel markets.

Finally, the P5 500 TEX iSUB sublimation printer, unveiled at the end of 2024, will be presented for the first time at Fespa. This extra-large-format model, with a 5.2-meter web width, features integrated in-line mounting.

Software, automation and fine art reproduction

In addition to the hardware, Durst will be presenting the latest developments in its software suite. The Durst Workflow module integrates automated quality control and background processing functions, as well as compatibility with the Amazon Transparency program for production traceability.

Artistic reproductions printed with the P5 X will be on display at the stand. They were produced in collaboration with Italian photographer Celeste Cima and photo printer New Lab Photo. These works showcase the platform's ability to render high-definition visuals on rigid supports.
