We embrace the future with music at Drupa 2021

Drupa online does not escape the traditional song!

The hectic aisles, the new technologies to discover at each booth, the chance meetings with colleagues from all over the world... we miss the atmosphere of the great graphic arts fair. But we can console ourselves... by listening to the Drupa anthem! In the run-up to the opening of the digital version of Drupa 2021, which will be held from Tuesday, April 20 to Friday, April 23, the organizers of the German event Messe Düsseldorf unveiled on social networks an excerpt of the Drupa song.

We Embrace The Future is performed by singer Beatrice Thomas aka BB Thomaz, a finalist on the TV show The Voice Germany 2017.
This piece was composed and performed by the German pianist Dieter Falk and his son Paul. Dieter Falk, professor of music at the Robert Schumann Academy in Düsseldorf, is also the author of the song of the last Drupa in 2016 .

And since 2000, every Drupa has its own song. The first Drupa anthem, however, dates back to 1986. In 2005, the country-tinged song was named one of the three worst company songs of all time! The English technology news magazine The Register who was responsible for this classification had judged it badly "apocalyptically bad" !
