Konica Minolta France unveils its strategy for the coming years

The company bases its ambitions on two major pillars: the consolidation of its printing activities and the development of new digital services.

Since April, a new President and CEO has been in place as head of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France (KMBSF), which employs 1,800 people, Jonathan Leyva . Today, the new CEO of the subsidiary based in Carrières-sur-Seine of the Japanese manufacturer unveils his strategy to consolidate and develop the position of Konica in France.

Defined for three years, this roadmap is built on two main pillars: consolidation of the printing activities and accelerating its growth drivers The company is focused on digital services such as IT solutions, content digitization, business process digitization and professional video.

The consolidation of Konica's historical business, professional and industrial printing, will be achieved by strengthening its regional coverage and by developing the packaging and label markets, especially personalization.

Regarding growth drivers, Konica will create three new business units within the group. These divisions will develop new services to support customers in their transformation projects.
Specifically, Konica will offer software for capture, content management, business processes and robotization, cloud offerings, installation and maintenance services for IT equipment and infrastructure, and high-end IT security and video surveillance software. For these two security offerings, the company expects to increase its sales sixfold during the year.

Two appointments to the Executive Committee

To achieve these objectives, Jonathan Leyva has strengthened the company's executive committee by appointing two directors: Sophie Groussard, who becomes marketing and communications director, and Jean-Christophe Pin as sales director.

Sophie Groussard, Marketing and Communications Director, and Jean-Christophe Pin, Sales Director of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France.

Sophie Groussard held various marketing and communication positions in the Renault Nissan automotive group. She then worked in the B2B services sector at Bureau Veritas France, specialized in testing, inspection and certification, and in the energy sector at Primagaz.

As for Jean-Christophe Pin, the new sales director has fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications sector, notably as sales director for major accounts and SMEs for the SFR group. He was also sales director and then managing director of Locatel, an IT company for the hotel and health sectors. He then became Sales and Marketing Director of Rentokil Initial, specialized in hygiene services for companies and administrations, and Managing Director of the Office Depot chain of office supply stores.

These two new people should "bring a fresh perspective" and "constructive experience from other sectors" notes Jonathan Leyva.

"The KMBSF Group has all the necessary resources to project itself into the future with ambition and to successfully adapt its model to the new market realities. I am convinced that we will achieve our goals with a clear and aggressive vision." says the CEO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions France.
