Innovation Week 2021: Heidelberg to present new technologies and customer success stories

From Wednesday, October 13 to Friday, October 15, Heidelberg is offering a large virtual event to discover the latest innovations launched by the group in the last 18 months, customer testimonials, expert opinions and to exchange directly with Heidelberg.

Printing press manufacturer Heidelberg is launching Innovation Week 2021. For three days, from October 13 to 15, under the motto "Always a Step Ahead," the German manufacturer will present its latest technologies and customer success stories at this online event.

Three thematic conferences live from Germany

Starting at 9 a.m., live reports of about 20 minutes will be available each day on a different subject.

The event will be broadcast from the Print Media Center in Wiesloch-Walldorf, Germany, where Heidelberg is showcasing its latest offset and digital technologies for the commercial, packaging and label market segments.

Claudia Jung, Head of Digital Ecosystem, will preview the new Heidelberg Plus online platform, a portal that gives users access to all Heidelberg digital services.

Diversification: Versafire
Achieving competitiveness through diversification. This program presentation presents the perfect combination, with a focus on profitability. Manuela Gomez, General Manager of Digital Print Solutions Marketing, will discuss the wide range of opportunities that arise from the intelligent integration of digital presses into the workflow.

Participants will also have access to videos on Heidelberg technologies.
A video introduces, for example, Heidelberg Plus, the new entry portal to the Heidelberg ecosystem.
Heidelberg Plus combines existing applications with new services. Customers have a complete overview of all their tools and information, networked functions and the Heidelberg service portfolio. This will enable quick and easy access to information, purchase of items and monitoring of operations.
Another video shows the strengths of the Speedmaster CX 75 for the label printing market, including its digital finishing performance.
Attendees will also learn more about the creative possibilities of the Versafire EV with the new gold and silver toners.

They will also learn about Remote Contracts and the Performance Advisor Technology (PAT) automated consulting tool, an artificial intelligence-driven tool that analyzes data and streamlines workflows.

Feedbacks to discover

Innovation Week will also be an opportunity to hear from commercial, packaging and label printers equipped with Heidelberg.
These business leaders will explain how they have improved their performance and competitiveness by using the latest Heidelberg innovations, including the new Speedmaster CX 104 universal press, the Stahlfolder P-Stacker automated folder and the Versafire digital press.
Other testimonials will talk about how they have increased productivity through a subscription agreement with Heidelberg, and how they have automated their processes using the Prinect workflow.

The event will be held in English, but subtitled versions of the presentations will be available in seven other languages, including French.
