Ryobi introduces upgraded versions of its four flagship commercial and package printing models, the RMGT 10 Series.
This new series of RMGT 10 ST, TP, PF and LX sheetfed offset presses offers increased productivity and is equipped with new systems to facilitate press operation. These presses are available in the 1020 (740 x 1020 mm) and 1060 (750 x 1060 mm) models. The RMGT 10 series is available, depending on the model, in 4, 6 or 8 colors. And the previous RMGT 1050 presses are replaced by the RMGT 1060 presses with increased format.
These modifications must meet "the printing industry's trend toward diversified, small-format work" and "the difficulty in recruiting new skilled operators." explains the Japanese manufacturer.
On the commercial printing presses, the ST, TP and PF models, the new Smart Assist Printing system allows the consecutive printing of several jobs in a fully automatic way.
Ink presetting, blanket cleaning, plate changing, print tests, register and density adjustment are all done at the touch of a button on the control panel.
The improvements reduce set-up time by up to 70% compared to previous models.
For package printing with the RMGT 10 LX press, the feeding and delivery have been improved and the printing speed increased.
In addition to the improvements in the ST, TP and PF presses, the RMGT 10 LX press features a new shrink coating unit that allows the next job to be prepared while still printing on the other units. This reduces makeready time by up to 40 percent compared to previous models.
The control panels, control buttons and valves in the feed and receiving sections have been redesigned to improve ergonomics.
