digital services and information management, as well as printing and imaging solutions

The Japanese Ricoh Group acquires Axon Ivy, specialized in digital process automation.

Headquartered in Lucerne, Switzerland, with offices in Austria, Germany and subsidiaries in the United States and Singapore, Axon Ivy has created a software platform to help its users achieve their digital transformation goals.
This process automation platform brings together numerous tools allowing, for example, collaborative work, the display of dashboards or the design of applications thanks to low-code solutions).

Axon Ivy becomes an independent entity of the Japanese digital services, information management, and printing and imaging solutions group. The Swiss company will continue to operate under its current name and all positions will be retained.

"This acquisition is part of Ricoh's strategic investment in growing our digital services business." says Akira Oyama, general manager and president of Ricoh's digital services business unit.

David Mills, CEO of Ricoh Europe, adds: "From our own transformation as a global business services organization with exceptional expertise in document process management, we've seen that many companies are still facing complex technology infrastructures and automation needs beyond simply moving from paper to digital. This acquisition addresses exactly that business challenge - we continue to see a growing demand for software that is not limited to printing or documents. This trend, coupled with our customers' ambition to rapidly advance their digital journey, makes this acquisition a particularly exciting moment in the Axon Ivy and Ricoh story."
