The LabelSystem DCC-12, the new label cutting line from Polar

Polar's LabelSystem DCC-12 die-cut and banded label converting line runs 10 cycles per minute.

The German manufacturer Polar Mohr introduces the Polar LabelSystem DCC-12, the new generation of its highly automated diecutter for labels made of compressible plastics such as OPP film for overmolded labels.

Thanks to its control system, this die-cut and banded label converting line has a production capacity increased by 25% compared to the previous model (DCC-11), reaching a speed of 10 cycles per minute.

Job changeover is done at the touch of a button and the set-up and changeover time is about 15 minutes thanks to the automatic presets.
The Polar LabelSystem DCC-12 is also suitable for cutting paper labels.

The label material is first pre-cut into strips, either inline or offline, by a Polar high-speed cutter and then cut to individual size with the AC Autocut 25 Plus. The label bundles are then moved to the Polar DCC die-cutting system, where the labels are die-cut by means of a back pressure. After cutting, the bundles are automatically pushed to the Single-Station Bander BD where they are banded with PE film, PP tape or PE-coated kraft paper.

The new scalable control system enables remote maintenance and diagnostics, as well as integration into the digital workflow.

Polar Mohr's LabelSystem DCC-12 diecutter will be on display at LabelExpo in Brussels from April 26-29, 2022.
