100 installations in two years. HP has delivered its 100th HP Indigo 100K to UK online printer Solopress, which already has five HP Page Wide and Indigo presses. At 6,000 sheets per hour, the HP Indigo 100K digital press, which will launch in 2020, is the most productive B2 digital press on the market, according to the manufacturer.
Since the lifting of the covid restrictions, the reseller print shop belonging to the Onlineprinters group has seen an increase in demand. "We're really excited to see the market turn around and orders start to pick up after a very difficult period." says Simon Cooper, managing director of Solopress. "As a company, we are always looking to maximize productivity and the 100K provides us with the additional capacity, reliability and quality we seek for our customers."
The the first HP Indigo 100K was also sold to the Onlineprinters group . The German printing house in Neustadt an der Aischav had tested the new machine for 10 months before it was launched.
In addition to the 100th installation, the manufacturer is celebrating 10 years since the launch of the Indigo B2 format range, which was introduced with the HP Indigo 10000 at Drupa 2012. More than 800 Indigo B2 machines have now been installed worldwide.
