OneVision: New Features in Workflow Automation Software

With this new version, printers gain more flexibility and automation in their production processes.

German software company OneVision Software has released a new version of its print workflow software OneVision Automation Suite. The update to Workspace Pro X, which is available for all OneVision solutions, includes many new features for file management and preparation that further simplify the workflow.

Easier integration of the machine park

This software solution from OneVision integrates with front-ends and production devices even more easily. Konica Minolta's AccurioJet KM-1 sheetfed press, Canon's PRISMAsync systems, Zünd Cut Center software and Bourg's C.P. machines are fully compatible with Workspace Pro X.
The possibilities of configuring the marks and cutting lines on Summa equipment have also been extended.

Even more flexible workflow management

In addition, the new Send HTTP commands module allows for easy communication with other web-based tools.
Assembly sub-lines allow you to better structure workflows and group recurring steps into separate assembly lines.
The Workspace Balance tool balances workloads in an intelligent and automated way. Jobs are distributed in order of priority to available capacities.

New features in file preparation

OneVision has also enhanced the functionality of print file preparation.
Barcode processing has been optimized. Recognized barcodes can now be replaced, and it is possible to choose the colors of the barcode and the background.
Workflows for multi-page document processing have also been enhanced with blank page insertion options.
For amalgam printing, it is now possible to combine single-sided and double-sided jobs, which allows for greater flexibility.
