Just two years after the 500th installation, Konica Minolta doubles the number of AccurioLabel digital presses delivered. The 1000th AccurioLabel press, a AccurioLabel 230 etiq'Lyon, which specializes in roll-fed adhesive labels, has just installed a new machine in its facilities in Caluire in the Rhône region.
Bertrand Genin, manager of the seven-person printing company, explains: "This investment will allow us to offer a wide range of new business solutions to our customers from all industries, thanks to the support we receive, the machine's very good color stability and fast production speeds."
The AccurioLabel 230 press reaches a printing speed of 23.4 m/min on most papers and adhesive films. Depending on its configuration, it can be compatible with two web widths 250 or 330 mm.
His choice for the AccurioLabel 230 was determined primarily by the total cost of ownership "extremely competitive" and by "the professional support and responsiveness of Konica Minolta's experts."
euros originally intended for small and medium-sized businesses, AccurioLabel presses are now widely used by larger label printers, Konica Minolta says. Launched in 2016, this toner press for roll-fed label printing accounted for 28 percent of the market share in Europe last year.
