The Ice Stitchliner Mark V, Horizon's coil saddle stitcher

The StitchLiner Ice Mark V shapes booklets from a coil feed.

Horizon is launching a new generation of stitcher-folder, the Ice Stitchliner Mark V. This line is designed for the production of high volume booklets from digitally printed reels.

The Ice Stitchliner Mark V produces up to 6,000 brochures per hour.
The dimensions of the booklets without edge trimming can reach 356 x 254 mm in portrait and 267 x 305 mm in landscape.
This finishing line processes paper in reels of 50 to 210 g/m 2 and cover paper from 50 to 350 g/m 2 .
The maximum thickness of the quilting is 5 mm (about 50 sheets of 80 g/m 2 ).
Settings for variable page count applications are automated, without the need for operator intervention.

The optional cover feeder (CF-50D) allows you to crease and insert a single sheet anywhere in a booklet. And up to three CF-50Ds can be connected in line to insert three sheets.
This feeder can be used as a stand-alone unit for the production of single-sheet brochures (for short runs or reprints).
