What new paper products are available today from Antalis?

Additions, name change, new range... Distributor Antalis takes stock of its offset and creative paper offerings, Olin and Keaykolour.

The collapse of the paper manufacturer Arjowiggins has shaken up the European printing sector. Printers had to quickly turn to new references. In recent months, Antalis, which was the exclusive distributor of several of the brands produced by the British group, has recomposed its offer.
After having of its former supplier's portfolio in November, the French distributor provides an update on its new Olin premium offset paper and Keaykolour creative paper ranges, available from March.

Antalis tells us about these new papers previously produced at Arjowiggins' mills: "The products are made in Europe. They are made to our specifications with the help of experts from Arjowiggings, among others, whom we have commissioned to develop the products."

The Olin line of premium uncoated papers now consists of the Olin Design, Olin Colours, Olin Millesime and Olin Origins sub-ranges.

Antalis has redesigned its Olin Design uncoated papers. This range is now available in three finishes (Regular, Smooth and Rough), 15 weights (from 50 to 400 gr/m 2 ) and in four shades Bright white, Soft white and Warm white and the new shade Ultimate white (CIE 170).
Some references have a surface treatment to be printed in Indigo or laser.
The new Olin Design range will be available from March 2023. The old range will remain available at a reduced price while stocks last, Antalis says.

The range Pop'Set is replaced by Olin Colours which is available in 26 colors.
Jérôme Noyelle, Head of Creative Papers at Antalis, says: " Following the pre-production tests carried out to guarantee the continuity of Pop'Set's historical best-selling colors, we have also added new trendy colors, references in 500 and 700 g/m 2 in black for heavy weight applications and digital printing items".
Olin Colours will be delivered in March. Pop'Set remains "widely available" and will be replaced as Olin Colours is introduced.

Antalis launches a new line of bristol board, Olin Millesime with an extra white vellum finish. Available from 180 to 400 g/m 2 olin Millesime is intended for business cards.
Olin Millesime will be available in mid-March.

As for the Olin Origins rough finish paper, it is already available since 2021.

Antalis is also preparing a range of envelopes that will be launched in April.

As for the keaykolour range of papers and cardboards for high-end printing and packaging applications, the distributor has reduced the number of colors from 48 to 45.
Jérôme Noyelle explains: "We kept the same production standards as in the past and adapted the packaging to the new Keaykolour visual identity."
This new range will be available from March 2023. In April, new extra rough references in white and black colors with new embossing patterns will be launched.

"We will be announcing details of our new Conqueror and Curious ranges shortly and then our new Opal and Rives ranges." says Thierry Griselin, Managing Director of Antalis France and Benelux. "Our goal is to have a complete transition by the end of the first quarter."
