Following the launch on the French market of the revoria toner presses, Fujifilm introduces its XMF PressReady workflow.
"XMF PressReady is an all-new print workflow system specifically designed to maximize the operational efficiency of Fujifilm's new line of digital POD (print on demand, Editor's note) equipment." says John Davies, Fujifilm Europe's workflow manager.
The XMF PressReady workflow manages print jobs from different sources (such as web-to-print, MIS systems, customer-supplied PDF files, etc.) and directs them to the appropriate digital press. XMF PressReady also allows printers to automate repetitive tasks.
And combined with the Revoria Flow digital front end of the Revoria Press PC1120 color press, which provides RIPing, color management, special color control and more, the workflow results in a system capable of fully automating the flow of print jobs from order intake to printed product, Fujifilm says.
In addition, when integrated with Fujifilm's XMF Workflow system, XMF PressReady handles both digital and offset production.
XMF PressReady also supports any digital press with an Efi Fiery digital front end.
