FUJIFILM Business Innovation boosts business growth with new presses

FUJIFILM Business Innovation announces the international launch of four new mid-range production presses in the Revoria Press series. The Revoria Press EC2100S and Revoria Press SC285S are equipped with a special toner station to complement CMYK toners, enabling five-color printing in a single pass. The Revoria Press EC2100 and Revoria Press SC285 are four-color presses. Space-saving, these four products offer superior print quality and speed. Worldwide sales will start in January 2025.

The Revoria Press series was launched in July 2021. The flagship model, the Revoria Press PC1120, is aimed at the high-end professional market. Featuring a six-color, single-pass print engine with up to two special toners, it offers 2,400 dpi resolution, high-speed printing at 120 pages per minute and superior print quality thanks to Super EA-Eco toner, whose toner particles are among the finest in the industry. With its outstanding productivity and image quality, as well as its value-added potential thanks to its special colors, the Revoria Press PC1120 already dominates the production printing market in Europe, the USA and the Asia-Pacific region.

The Revoria Press EC2100S and Revoria Press EC2100 boast a high output of 100 pages per minute, and are mainly used for commercial printing and quick-turnaround jobs. The 85-page-per-minute Revoria Press SC285S and Revoria Press SC285 are used for high-speed and in-house printing. All four products feature a compact footprint, thanks to new vertical toner development technology. They are also designed to incorporate new technologies to deliver the same outstanding print quality as the Revoria Press PC1120.

All four products are capable of handling a wide range of grammages (from light 52 g/m² paper to 400 g/m² cardboard) ) and paper sizes (from 90 x 146 mm to 330 x 1,300 mm) without reducing print speed.

All models feature a new function, Smart Monitoring Gate D1, which detects color variations and front-to-back misalignments during printing and automatically corrects them in real time, to maintain high print quality without any impact on productivity.

For high-quality images and smooth workflows, users can choose between Revoria Flow or Fiery print servers. The new vertical toner development system, which enables presses to maintain a small footprint, ensures that users can produce top-quality prints, even for a wide variety of products, such as catalogs, brochures, manuals and sales aids, in small quantities and with very short delivery times.

The new products were previewed at drupa 2024, and since then have been the talk of the printing industry worldwide.

1. Revoria Press EC2100S / SC285S (available for both products)
1. Equipped with a single-pass five-color print engine, special toner can be used to complement CMYK toners. A full range of auxiliary functions is available for easy use of special colors.
2. Several special toners are available: transparent, pink, gold, silver and white. A whole range of metallic colors can be produced by mixing high-gloss gold and silver toners with CMYK toners.
3. Image data is automatically divided into five CMYK colors and pink on Revoria Flow or Fiery print servers.
4. Special colors can be previewed, saving users time and energy, and minimizing the need for test prints.
5. Users can easily change the special toner in just 10 minutes.
2. Revoria Press EC2100S / EC2100 / SC285S / SC285 (common to all four products)
   1. The compact roller fuser produces high-quality prints on textured paper.
   2. An optional air suction feeder ensures reliable feeding of coated paper, which tends to stick to other sheets. The optional D1 static eliminator removes static electricity from film and other static-sensitive papers, reducing adhesion between sheets for greater efficiency.
   3. The machine also handles paper output such as envelopes, water-resistant paper and cardboard used for packaging.
