From the acquisition of Lexmark finalized in 2025, Xerox will is gradually reorganizing its activities worldwide. After commercial modifications, the American manufacturer of digital printing machines adjusts its portfolio to include Lexmark's 9 Series printers and MFPs.
The A3 Series 9 completes the range already on the market. These machines support media formats ranging from A6 to SRA3, and can be fitted with various finishing options. Color functions including Pantone calibration are also available to stabilize color rendering. Some routine maintenance operations are simplified, and toner replacement is tool-free.
What's more, Lexmark printers and MFPs now work with several software tools from the Xerox catalog.
The devices are compatible with Xerox Managed Print Services as well as with various applications such as Xerox Easy Assist, Xerox Print & Scan Experience, Xerox App Gallery or ConnectKey applications.
Document workflow solutions such as Xerox Workflow Central or Translate & Print can also be used. These tools can be used to manage equipment fleets and automate certain document processes.
Xerox also reports that the Lexmark 9 Series platform incorporates a significant proportion of post-consumer recycled plastic. The manufacturer claims a 56% weight share for basic MFPs and 73% for the printer model.
"This is much more than a simple integration step. It's a real turning point in the way we operate and approach the market" says Jacques-Édouard Gueden, Xerox's Chief Revenue Officer.
