As we approach this major event, a summary of the various Drupa forums.

Not only does Drupa, the world's largest trade fair for the graphic arts industry, showcase the latest innovations from manufacturers from all over the world, it also offers five specialist forums, places for exchange and conferences. Stands will complement these spaces.

At the 20th edition, which will take place from June 16 to 23, 2020 at the Dusseldorf Exhibition Centre in Germany, visitors will be able to participate in five areas called Hot Spots: the Drupa cube, Touchpoint Packaging, Touchpoint 3D fab+print, Touchpoint Textile and DNA.

The drupa cube is a two-week conference programme - available free of charge to all drupa 2020 delegates.

Space Touchpoint Packaging is dedicated to innovations in packaging design and production. This forum covers various printing technologies and packaging types for different markets and welcomes brands, designers, material suppliers, converters and all other experts in the packaging industry.
As a highlight, visitors can expect a presentation of prototypes incorporating innovative design and packaging solutions that have been developed in response to the needs and demands of future consumers and brands.

The Touchpoint 3D fab + print is dedicated to 3D printing. At the previous Drupa (in 2016), 3D printing was one of the highlights of the show. In addition to its own dedicated exhibition area, Drupa 2020 will once again devote a Touchpoint 3D fab + print area to this additive technology with the VDMA Additive Manufacturing Association having prepared 80 two-hour lectures on the subject. The focus will be on applications in printing and paper machine construction as well as media and packaging.

The forum Textile touchpoint focuses on the potential of digital textile printing in new business areas.
The main partner of Touchpoint textile is Europe's largest textile research centre, the German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research (DITF). DITF, in collaboration with partners from various industries, will demonstrate a digital textile micro-plant, from the fully networked supply chain of the customer to the finished product.
"Our micro-plant offers new business models, flexible and local production processes with small order quantities and a fast way to make customised garments while taking into account current trends and customer needs", explains Messe Düsseldorf, the organizer of Drupa.

The Drupa Next Age (DNA) is dedicated to future industry topics and to encourage a productive exchange of experience between global players, start-ups and SMEs.
It offers innovative startups the opportunity to present their new ideas for products, services and strategies for relevant cross-functional projects.
