Highcon at Drupa 2016

The manufacturer's latest digital finishing machines will be on display.

The young manufacturer Highcon, founded in 2009, is beginning to make a name for itself on the board converting market with its digital machines. For its third appearance at Drupa, Highcon will present a range of proven machines that meet a variety of speed, format and media requirements in the folding and corrugated board industry.

Highcon will demonstrate the latest versions of the Highcon Euclid and Beam enhanced digital laser cutting and creasing machines, named Highcon Euclid 5 for corrugated and Highcon Beam 2 for flat and thin corrugated board. And the flagship machine will be the Highcon Beam 2C for the corrugated sector.

The Beam 2C has already attracted two leaders in the packaging industry, the Australian group Orora Fibre Packaging Australasia and the German company Thimm, the first European customer (read Europe's first Highcon Beam 2C in production ).

Flexibility is inherent to digital technology for the manufacturer: "You can adjust the laser cutting depth for full cut, half cut, perforation, or marking, or you can adjust the scoring height to match the thickness of the media and perform scoring according to the composition. This is just a brief overview of the benefits of digitally guided physical scoring and laser cutting, two processes at the heart of Highcon's solutions"

Visitors will be able to see the digital finishing machines in full operation and hear feedback from the manufacturer's customers from all over the world.
