The list of exhibitors at the world's largest graphic arts trade fair is shrinking like a sore thumb.

Each week brings its share of withdrawals unfortunately. Two new manufacturers have just announced that they will finally not participate in the next Drupa scheduled from Tuesday 20th to Wednesday 28th April 2021, in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The offset press manufacturer RMGT (formerly Ryobi) stated on 20 October that it will not participate in Drupa 2021. "RMGT had prepared for the exhibition, believing that being present at Drupa would be an excellent opportunity to shed light on recent developments in the printing industry, which has unfortunately been hard hit by the spread of the new coronavirus (Covid-19).
Today, six months before the start of the show, the Covid-19 outbreak is not slowing down but rather showing new signs of spreading around the world. RMGT has therefore decided to cancel its participation due to the difficulty of creating a safe and healthy environment where people can talk positively about the future."

And on October 23, DuPont Image Solutions of the Dupont Group made a similar announcement. The manufacturer of flexographic systems and large-format printing and textile inks is talking about the continuing uncertainty of the evolution of the covid-19 pandemic. It will present its latest innovations from its Cyrel flexographic systems range and its Artistri range of textile inks for digital printing by other means, including virtual.
