LGR Packaging unveils a new large format cold stamping line

A premium finish on a wide range of boxes of all sizes.

LGR Packaging explains that it is strengthening its position in the "ecological premium" segment with a new large format cold stamping line. The company, which already masters the technology of cold stamping on an 8-color offset line for solid board boxes, now offers this finishing solution for microflute boxes.

LGR Packaging presents the equipment installed on one of the printing lines as a world first due to its size: format 164 - 8 units. This particularity allows the group to develop a premium finish on a wide range of boxes of all sizes: cases, grouping boxes, cartons, bag-in-boxes, ready-to-sell, POP displays.

"Cold foil stamping is an attractive, value-adding, cost-effective and environmentally friendly inline finishing solution. The technology allows to give a packaging a metallic effect of remarkable fineness and precision, on large surfaces. The design possibilities are endless: choice of colors, gradients, screens, etc. The support does not contain any plastic film, unlike the polyester generally used for metallized packaging, and is therefore 100% recyclable explains LGR Packaging.

Sublimate the packaging

By combining the environmental dimension with broad aesthetic possibilities, cold stamping is a highly appreciated solution in markets such as festive food or wines and spirits. As a specialist in printed cardboard packaging in Europe, LGR Packaging has a strong investment policy in its 13 entities and continues to expand its range of packaging solutions to meet the demand
