This year marks the return of the large format trade fair Fespa after the covid years. For this occasion, Agfa has pulled out all the stops. Visitors to stand B2-15 will be able to see four machines in demonstration from May 23 to 26, 2023, in Munich, Germany.
The flat table Onset X3 HS at full speed on corrugated board
For the first time in Europe, the Belgian manufacturer will present the Onset X3 HS flatbed printer. With a printing area of 322 x 160 cm, this 7-color plus white inkjet printer prints on various substrates at an impressive speed of 1,450 m 2 /h.
With its high level of automation, the digital printer can operate continuously, 7 days a week.
The X3 HS model includes a loading platform and an unloading robot.
At Fespa 2023, this Onset will showcase its printing capabilities on a variety of substrates, including corrugated cartons. Visitors will also be able to observe the automatic configuration performed by the machine in 30 seconds.
The Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS led, a varnish finish on cardboard
Agfa will also exhibit its fastest hybrid ultra-wide format inkjet printer, the Jeti Tauro H3300 UHS led.
The manufacturer has recently added a option to apply varnish on this machine for flexible and rigid supports up to 3.3 m wide. The varnish can be satin or gloss, flat or selective.
Demonstrations, especially on corrugated board with varnish, are on the program.
Hybrid textile printing with the Avinci CX3200
Visitors to the show will also have the opportunity to discover avinci CX3200 dye sublimation printer . This 3.2 m wide machine prints directly on fabric and also on transfer paper, allowing for backlit applications and printing on stretch fabrics.
The textile printing machine will be working on flexible substrates with the new generation Avinci 110 inks. These new inks have received the Oeko-Tex Eco Passport label, which guarantees the absence of hazardous components.
The Oberon RTR3300, coil printing on heat sensitive media
Agfa will also install a Oberon RTR3300 . This large format roll-to-roll (RTR) inkjet printer with UV curing prints on roll materials up to 150 m 2 /h.
At the show, there will be demonstrations of printing on heat-sensitive media, such as transparent media for window decorations.
Agfa's teams will also be present to detail the possibilities of integrating inkjet into production environments with industrial applications as well as the UV and water-based ink ranges and complete industrial inkjet printing systems (for laminate or leather production, for example).
