Japanese manufacturer Fujifilm has announced a worldwide price increase for its offset printing plates, processing chemicals, printed circuit board (PWB) films and inks.
The increase will be more than 10% and will differ by region and product. It will be implemented as of May 1, 2021.
The group, which operates in the fields of healthcare, materials, printing and imaging, explains this strong increase by the rise "considerable." of "costs of various raw materials, including aluminum and silver" and the increase in international transportation costs.
