The Kongsberg C20, the ultra compact cutting table

With a working area of 1.6 m x 1.4 m, this machine offers new finishing possibilities for signage and packaging companies with limited space.

Belgium-based digital cutting and creasing machine manufacturer and newly renamed Kongsberg PCS is launching a sixth table in its C Series line, the C20.

This finishing machine is designed for the production of POS advertising, signage and packaging. It has a working area of 1.68 m x 1.43 m and reaches a speed of up to 100 m/min. The C20 is thus "the smallest high-speed production table on the market" according to the manufacturer, which has been owned by OpenGate Capital since last April .

"It's a fact that both industrial manufacturers and small shops need a fast cutting table to keep up with the manufacturing process, but the footprint is expensive." says Stuart Fox, president of Kongsberg PCS. "With the advent of the Kongsberg C20, these companies can meet their production and quality requirements regardless of the space available."

Like the other C-Series tables, the C20 compact table can cut, crease, punch and mill various materials such as cardboard, foam, PVC, polypropylene, polycarbonate, adhesive vinyl. Several tool combinations are available during production.
The Kongsberg C20 is also equipped with a probe that measures the thickness of the substrate to be cut, and a camera can be added to locate printed and unprinted areas.

"The ability to achieve optimal performance with an extremely small footprint is a total game changer for the signage industry." adds Stuart Fox.
