The Arizona 135 GT, Canon's latest large format camera

This large-format press, which can handle a wide range of flat and roll media, is attractive from 2,000 m2 of printing per year.

Launched in 2006, the Arizona large format printer has become a benchmark in large format printing. More than 7,500 Arizona printers have been installed worldwide.
Today, Canon is launching the latest in the 5th generation of Arizona, the Arizona 135 GT.

This model is equipped with "the same basic technology and benefits as its larger medium-volume sisters for an attractive investment" The Arizona 135 GT represents a significant step forward in the development of the Canon Production Printing business," said Michele Tuscano, vice president of EMEA large format at Canon Production Printing. The Arizona 135 GT represents "a wise investment from only 2,000 m 2 per year." says the manufacturer.

The Arizona 135 GT is ideal for many high-value applications

Manufactured in Poing, Germany, this UV led machine with a printing area of 125 × 250 cm is intended for almost infinite applications as its printing materials are so multiple.

It is capable of processing media up to 50.8 mm thick and at speeds up to 34.2 m 2 /hour. The new Arizona prints on standard and porous surfaces such as glass, aluminum and other metals, canvas, wood, MDF, cardboard, ceramic tiles and plastics.

With the roll media option, users can print flexible media up to 220 cm wide, even thin and heat-sensitive media, and run unattended roll-to-roll jobs.

And with the static elimination kit, the printer also handles hard plastic materials, such as acrylic, polycarbonate or styrene.

The Arizona 135 GT's printing process uses up to 50% less ink than ordinary flatbed printers while delivering high image quality with its VariaDot printing technology.

Maximum availability and productivity

The Canon Arizona 135 GT also incorporates easy-to-use features that increase productivity such as nesting, batch processing of complex jobs, mirroring and reassignment of print modes.
"Accurate registration prevents mistakes, and the ability to make last-minute adjustments to the product saves valuable time." the manufacturer assures.

In addition, the large-format digital press is equipped with several maintenance tools that optimize its availability. For example, the nozzles of the print heads are automatically cleaned. It is also possible to be serviced remotely thanks to a direct connection between the machine and Canon technicians.
