Canon is launching a new workflow service called PRISMAprepare Go. "Simple, comprehensive and affordable" PRISMAprepare Go is designed for corporate and government print centers or small printers.
"By offering PRISMAprepare Go, our first SaaS-based workflow product, we are providing a simple and cost-effective solution for printers to automate job submission, processing and execution without the need to invest in on-premise software or complex IT skills." said David Preskett, vice president of B2B sales for Canon Europe.
Offered as SaaS (Software as a Service) and accessible from an internet access, PRISMAprepare Go allows to quickly check the conformity of received files such as page formats, formatting, fonts or image resolution. Errors are eliminated and printing problems are reduced.
"No IT expertise or special training is required to configure, manage and maintain PRISMAprepare Go." the Japanese manufacturer stresses.
PRISMAprepare Go is compatible with Canon production printers driven by PRISMAsync, Fiery or Canon PDL, as well as generic third-party JDF printers.
