Landa's first European ink plant opened last month. Based in Sittard, the Netherlands, the facility produces Nanoink inks, specifically formulated for the S10 and S10P nanographic presses, whose printing technology was invented by Benny Landa, the group's founder.
This nanographic ink plant doubles Landa's production of consumables and meets "rapid growth in demand due to increased customer print volumes." says Landa. By moving to continental Europe, Landa is also significantly reducing its delivery times.
"Our new Sittard location is focused on sustainability, service reliability and business growth, says Gil Oron, CEO of Landa Digital Printing. It provides Landa customers with local sourcing, which in these very challenging times of global logistics and parts sourcing, offers considerable assurance. Plus, with customer production volumes increasing daily, it also ensures fast and reliable delivery, which is crucial to increasing efficiency."
