Roland DG launches six new printers

TrueVIS printers are now available in UV led, resin and eco-solvent.

Roland DG is significantly expanding its TrueVIS printer line. With the four eco-solvent models launched in March 2022, the TrueVIS series now includes 10 inkjet printers. This is the Japanese manufacturer's "largest product expansion to date".

These six new printers are divided into three series: the AP-640 resin printer, the LG high-productivity UV led cutter printers, which are available in three formats - the LG-640 model with a 64-inch width, the LG 540 model with a 54-inch width and the LG 300 with a 30-inch width - and finally the MG UV led cutter printers, which are available in a 64-inch format with the MG 640 and in a 30-inch format with the MG 300.

The AP-640 resin printer is a four-color printer that works with a new TrueVIS resin water-based ink. The piezoelectric printing heads are arranged in a double configuration and staggered, one head manages the optimizer the second CMYK inks.
"TrueVIS resin ink offers superior color saturation on PVC-free media compared to other conventional resin and inkjet printers." says the manufacturer. It allows printing on coated and uncoated media, including non-PVC, vinyl, paper or film.

The TrueVIS LG and MG series are UV led printing and cutting machines in CMYK, varnish, white, red, orange and primer.
TheTrueVIS LG series is equipped with a touch screen control and offers a maximum print speed of 1200 dpi. The cutter printers allow for half-face cutting.

The TrueVIS MG series features maximum printing at 1,440 dpi. It handles thin film and semi-rigid cardboard to create prototypes, packaging boxes and flexible pouches.
