Screen launches Truepress PAC 830F press for small packaging runs

This new Truepress high-speed water-based digital press is ideal for jobs under 4,000 meters.

Screen launches Truepress PAC 830F, a high-speed water-based CMYK and white inkjet system for flexible packaging. The Japanese manufacturer designed this digital press in response to the packaging market's trend towards varied, small-batch printing, with shorter turnaround times and greater personalization.

Thanks to its drop-on-demand inkjet technology, the Truepress PAC 830F processes films up to 830 mm wide at speeds of up to 75 meters per minute, with a resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 DPI.
Its inks comply with food safety regulations.
The CMYK and white machine also applies a primer coat to increase ink adhesion to substrates.

At present, the press handles PET and OPP films, but Screen stresses that it is working to further extend the compatibility of its machines in line with industry requirements.

"Thanks to its outstanding quality and productivity, the Truepress PAC830F is capable of meeting a wide variety of printing needs, from promotional to production applications. It also demonstrates exceptional responsiveness for small batches of less than 4,000 meters, a segment that can prove problematic for conventional analog production."
