The L'Eperon printing works, based in Preyssac-d'Excideuil in the Dordogne, is a major asset for Alliance Etiquettes. Specializing in the printing of self-adhesive labels, this 69-employee printing works generated sales of 10 million euros in 2023, mainly in the food, cosmetics and industrial sectors.
The acquisition of L'Eperon strengthens Alliance's position in these still relatively unexploited segments.
Stephan Dupont, the Group's Director of Strategic Projects, explains: "This operation will enable us to strengthen our position in two segments where we have little presence: food and industry, while diversifying our risks."
L'Eperon stands out for its flexographic and digital printing facilities. It also boasts a large-format capability, an area where Alliance Etiquettes was less present. These facilities include HP presses and AB Graphic finishing lines, offering a diversity of services that will enrich the group's global offering.
There are numerous industrial synergies between L'Eperon and the group's other printing plants, whether in terms of procurement or sales force optimization. As Christophe Vavassori, Managing Director of L'Eperon, points out, this acquisition is an opportunity to "extend our services to our customers thanks to the many possible synergies".
Alliance Etiquettes, with its 13 printing plants (including 12 in France and one in Italy), has established itself as one of the leading players in label printing in France. The group, which aims to achieve sales of 120 million euros by 2023, continues to expand its network through targeted acquisitions.
Founded in 1956, L'Eperon has grown over the decades to become a recognized player in offset, letterpress and, more recently, digital printing. Its specialization in self-adhesive labels since 1995 has enabled it to position itself in specific markets, such as the food industry, but also in more technical sectors such as signage and point-of-sale advertising.
