The German manufacturer, which supports the decision of organizer Messe Düsseldorf to postpone the print trade fair on health grounds, will launch its innovations on the market as planned. As a reminder, Drupa 2020, which was scheduled to take place in June in Dusseldorf, Germany, has been postponed due to a coronavirus epidemic until 2021, from Tuesday 20 to Friday 30 April 2021 at the same venue (read Drupa 2020 will not take place ).

It must be said that this postponement of almost a year is not insignificant for the exhibitors. They have been working on launching new products for several years to coincide with this major graphic arts trade show that usually takes place every four years.

Just a few weeks before the announcement of the postponement of Drupa 2020, Heidelberg had already unveiled the highlights of its innovations. Heidelberg is aiming for even greater automation with the enhancement of its Push to Stop technology, which will be presented at Drupa 2016.
In particular, he referred to the Plate to Unit, which automatically transfers printing plates to the various printing units of the offset press. And the manufacturer has also announced a new generation of Speedmaster offset presses , "the smartest and most automated" never pitched. Most models of this new Speedmaster should be available from April 2020.
