A wide range of print media with Canon's ProStream 1800

Thanks in part to its intelligent air flotation drying system, the continuous feed digital press accepts a wider range of media - compared to the previous ProStream 1000 model - from 40 to 300 g/m² 2 Coated papers, uncoated plain papers for offset printing and treated papers for inkjet printing.

"This solution increases margins and profitability across a wide range of applications, from high-end, high-volume direct marketing to the printing of books, catalogs and magazines" indicates the manufacturer. It can also be used to make calendars, posters and POS displays up to 556 mm wide on 1?524 mm long.

Canon has equipped the ProStream 1800 with an online quality control system. Print quality is monitored automatically using high-performance cameras.

And users will also appreciate being able to change format lengths without having to stop production.
