The 4th generation of SwissQprint flatbed tables

The Nyala, Impala and Oryx are now in their 4th generation.

A new series of flatbed printers is coming. SwissQprint launches the fourth generation of its three UV led flatbed printers, the Nyala (3.2×2 m), the Impala (2.5×2 m) and the Oryx (2.5×2 m). The two main novelties of these machines are their printing heads and the suction table.

SwissQprint 4: improved quality and increased speed

With its new inkjet heads, the Nyala and Impala reach 1350 dpi (compared to 1080) and increase their speed for certain printing modes. The Impala in quality and fine arts mode thus passes from 48 and 28 to 62 m 2 /h and 33 m 2 /h. (In speed mode, this model like the generation 3 reaches 180 m 2 /h.)

As for the Oryx 4, SwissQprint's entry-level printer, it is almost 40% faster than the Oryx 3 in all its printing modes, reaching 90 m 2 /h (compared to 65 m 2 /h).

Tip Switch vacuum table for easy control

SwissQprint's designers have also modified the vacuum system, and the vacuum table is equipped with the patent-pending Tip Switch technology.

Tip Switch partitions the print area into 256 longitudinal segments that are easily turned on and off with a single button. No additional masking is required. On each switch, a green or red light indicates whether or not the area is being vacuumed.

Modular configuration

The new series still offers a multitude of modular options. Users can configure their printer exactly to their needs and modify it over time.

SwissQprint allows to choose the number of ink channels (up to 9 usable in CMYK, light cyan, light magenta, light black, orange, fluorescent pink, fluorescent yellow, white, varnish and primer), the number of printheads (up to 18), the roll-to-roll, the double roll, the loading and unloading robot and the extension of the printing table.
