Since its launch in 2010, HP's 22-inch web press platform has received three major upgrades. Now the U.S. manufacturer is offering a new upgrade to its HP PageWide Web Press T250 HD inkjet press.
This 558 mm wide digital web press has been upgraded to 244 m/min in monochrome, up from 152 m/min. This latest upgrade provides a 60% increase in productivity for single-color applications (in four-color, the maximum speed remains at 152 m/min.)
With a duty cycle of up to 90 million pages per month, this upgrade allows PageWide T250 HD owners to produce 1,250 x 300 pages or 6x9 book blocks per hour.
The HP PageWide T250 HD is designed to produce a wide variety of applications from newspapers to postcards and letters, posters to books and magazines. This inkjet press prints on most papers, from ColorPRO papers suitable for HP inks, to coated and uncoated papers.
