The VersaObject CO Series, the new printers from Roland DG

Six models make up the VersaObject CO series of printers for personalizing objects up to 20 cm high and flat or irregular surfaces.

Roland DG is adding new printers to its VersaObject line, dedicated to printing on panels and objects. Named VersaObject CO Series, these new UV inkjet flatbed printers "allow users to print on just about anything" says Jay Roberts, director of Roland DG UV Printer Product.

The VersaObject CO series can be configured in eight channels - CMYK, red, orange, white (Wh), gloss (Gl) and primer (Pr). Designed for versatility, it prints directly on a variety of materials such as plastic, leather, wood and fabric and in a variety of shapes such as panels, objects up to 200 mm high and irregular 3D objects.

The Japanese manufacturer uses it to personalize consumer products such as phone covers, trays, interior decoration, signage, industrial parts, displays and packaging.

VersaObject CO Series: 4 flat tables and 2 hybrids

This new VersaObject series includes four flatbed printer models, with different flatbed sizes ranging from 820 x 2050 mm (CO-300 F200) to 1690 x 3625 mm (CO-640 F400), and two conveyor belt models of 775 x 1750 mm (CO-300 B200) and 775 x 1648 mm (CO-640 B200). The hybrid (flatbed and conveyor) printers will print on longer shaped items, and thicker roll media such as leather, felt and rubber mats.

Two rotary rack accessories - the XL rotary rack and the XXL rotary rack âeuros are also available. These accessories, powered by the printer's gantry, add to the printer the ability to print on cylindrical objects ranging from 1.30 to 20 cm in diameter, such as bottles, glasses, flasks...
